Hey guys--
My house stayed intact--others around here are not so fortunate. There are trees down all over the place, in many cases on top of homes and cars. The power came back on last night at 10:10, while well over a million in the area have no electricity.
My wife and I got so excited when the house alarm chirped and the overhead ceiling fan started spinning that we kissed for the first time in three years. ;D
I have no Internet service so I'm sending this up on my college computer. I hear the cops outside coming to get me out of the building so they can secure the area--maybe I'll get tasered!
The campus re-opens next Monday so I might be incommunicado again until then. Thanks for the concern.
