What the hell happened there? That new owner of the NY Islanders is one f**ked-up dude! I thought he was ok when he hired Neil Smith; finally the Islanders are going to get better. Then BAM! I've lost my noodle! He was probably thinking "Umm, let's see what I can do to fix a good decision and turn it back into a dumb one." Milbury was out and the future looked good. Did anyone know that Snow was retiring? Anyways, just wanted to rave about this as its the first news I got before my first coffee this morning.

There are a lot of hockey people that saw this coming. First, Ted Nolan has a rep for backstabbing people. Secondly, it's never a good sign when the owner hires the coach instead of the GM. Thirdly, what do you expect from an organization/owner that has employed Mike Milbury for this long? MM could screw up a McDonalds at a fat farm. P.S. Check out the Isles new GM: i110.photobucket.com/albums/n102/isles2006/413545003ZdkrPC_ph.jpg

On another note, Lead by Hank's sister, all of your sisters/girlfriends are hired to entertain the arena during long and dull hockey games. I know many of them might not like the stretched dressing, but considering their agent, Vlad Khanin, negociated a 5m annual budget on this department (Wang accepted, after all it's not counting on salary cap and he is already overpaying many guys) I am sure many will overpass that problem and touch their 6-digit salary.
As for coaching staff, we implement a new system. All of the league's guys not named actually are hired as coaches. But who will be the head coach?? Everyday, we will proceed with a ball pick. On each ball there will be a player's number. When you pick a number, you are today's personnal coach of this guy. And the one who picks the gold ball become today's head coach. And with daily pick, everyone should be able to coach like 2-3 games ( no more, we dont expect to make playoffs)
BTW, does any1 out there knows a good organ player??
