Vlad, I dont see your point. None wants the Waiver draft. You dont have alot of spare time, and you want to keep something that isnt even used in NHL anymore? Am I missing something?

Yes, you are missing something. Please re-read the waiver draft thread.

This has a lot to do with lowering the free agency age in the new CBA. When we lower ours so that a player with 7 years on the pro roster of one team is able to become UFA, then and only then would I support the elimination of the waiver draft. The waiver draft is to prevent teams from stockpiling players on their prospect list or farm team who would otherwise be on someone else's pro roster. That principle still applies here because we don't have the accelerated player movement that would be brought about by so dramatically lowering the age for unrestricted free agency.

Hey, I like the waiver draft. Those players populate my top line! ;D Anyways, I'm all for some kind of simplification of the finance system. I have a past history where I've enjoyed intracate finance systems, so I'm all for powerful and flexible systems - but this is one league where I still can't figure it out (hard cap/flex cap etc.) Why not just go with a hard 50 mil cap and leave it at that?
